Our main observation
Working in long stretches of time without distractions is most effective for most individual tasks. It is therefore an important component for many jobs. This is especially true for knowledge workers that need to deal with digital tools and social interactions.
Interruptions and related phenomena also have a negative impact on well-being at work.

The birth of our company
QualFlo started with the observation of a contradiction:
- On the one hand, the importance and benefits of focused work (aka “deep work”) are severely underestimated.
- On the other hand, the urgency and importance of practices that interfere with this uninterrupted work are greatly overestimated.
In addition, communication technologies and digital distractions are becoming more and more numerous and powerful.
Our poor human brains often end up helpless.
As a result, many of us unconsciously lose control over our attention and ability to focus. Insidious, isn’t it?
